A Kangaroo in Denmark

This game is a variation of the classic 'grey elephants in Denmark'.
Put simply the end result is the person thinks of a kangaroo in Denmark. Of course with some assistance from you.
-
Get someone to choose a number between 1 and 10. Example 7
-
Have them multiply the chosen number by 9. Result 63.
-
If they have a two digit number (they might have chosen 1), get them to add the two digits together . Result 9.
-
Have them subtract 5 from that new number. Result 4.
-
Apply that new number to the same number of the alphabet which will be D. Say out aloud “A is 1, B is 2, C is 3, D is 4.”)
-
Get them to think of a country beginning with that letter (there is also the Dominican Republic, but the chances are 99% they will NOT think of that)
-
Get them to think of the last letter in their chosen county and think of an animal that begins with that letter.
-
Look at them with a curious look and tell them “there are no kangaroo`s in Denmark” 🙂
You can also apply this to a group of people.
Play around with your presentation. Enjoy it!
