The Birthday Breakdown Trick

You have your audience ready, goodie.

Now is the time to workout the persons birthday. Ask for a volunteer.
Ask the volunteer to write the number of the month that they were born. Eg April is the 4th month

• Get them to multiply that by 4

  Eg 4x4 = 16

• Add 13 to the new number

  Eg 16 + 13 = 29

• Now multiply that by 25

  29  x  25 = 725

• Subtract 200 from the new amount

  725 - 200 = 525

• Add the day of the month they were born

  525 + 2 = 527

• Multiply that new number by 2

  527 x 2 = 1054

• Subtract 40 from the new number

  1054 - 40 = 1014

• Multiply that new number by 50

  1014 x 50 = 50700

• Get them to add the last two digits of the year your were born (1971)

  50700 + 71 = 50771

• Ask the volunteer for the answer.

  50771

Heres where the magic happens!

Subtract 10500 from the volunteers answer.
103386 - 10500 = 40271
4 = month
02 = day
71 = year
